Most of my life I have wanted to help people become aware of what is happening in this fabricated (insane) “reality”. As a psychotherapist I have also been fortunate to study practical human nature; what has created this situation/condition the client wants to change? George Orwell once said “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever.” The future being created for us is far worse. The boot might be painful and it may inflict terrible damage but there is always the possibility of removing it. Darling of some highly misguided geeks, Elon Musk, believes by merging with artificial intelligence (AI) we can offset the potential dangers of robots taking over the world.
The future that Musk and his more zealous friends envisage is not only the prison without bars, it is a world in which humanity as we know it now no longer exists. I strongly suggest you watch the video above.
Over 20 years ago, after I had begun my psychotherapy practice I recall futurists talking about chronic illnesses like cancer affecting half the population in the Western world. I also recall the incidence of mental illness being predicted to be around 20 to 25% (of the population). Both are now true. If we add to this prescription drug use, between 50 and 70% of adults take at least one prescription drug (in the UK/USA). 70% of the over 75’s in the UK take at least three prescription drugs.
A recent article on the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields by alternative health expert, Dr Mercola, draws upon research which lists increases in 13 conditions which have mild to chronic symptoms and consequences. Since 1990 the lowest increase, i.e. 280% was related to depression. The highest increase, 11,027%, was related to chronic fatigue syndrome.
It is safe to say therefore that the majority of the population is sick.
Most people in the Western world when challenged by an illness, be it physical or mental, will turn to a drug to alleviate the symptoms. Whilst it is almost impossible to cure conditions with drugs (Why? Because drugs do not tackle the root cause and where is the profit in that?) there is no doubt many/most drug users will get by through “coping.”
I am going to spare you the usual tirade against allopathic medicine and coping. What everyone reading this has to agree upon is that almost everyone is suffering from something. You doubt this? Are you one of them? Have you walked down the High Street lately in your hometown and looked at the state of most people? Are they happy, full of the joys of life and delighted to be on the earth plane at this time?
So whether or not you are suffering from any kind of illness you have some choices to make. Carry on taking your drugs. Or consider the possibility that your suffering offers you the opportunity for transformation.
Someone who I met many years ago, excellent lecturer and researcher Steve Taylor, used the term, S.I.T.E.S. This acronym stands for suffering induced transformational experiences. So many people throughout history, not least Jesus himself, underwent massive personal change as a consequence of suffering. In Christ’s case I am not referring to the crucifixion. I have met many people in my life, naturally through my work, who have used mental and physical suffering as a vehicle to change their lives. I’ve yet to meet someone who has welcomed the death of a loved one or a chronic illness as a means of personal transformation, but when they happen, opportunity knocks. It is probable that the majority of S.I.T.E.S. could be classified as the wake-up call in the Heroic Journey.
Given we are now living in an era of acute and chronic illness, of environmental toxins and hazards that pollute everything we eat and drink and the air we breathe the chances of “millennials” reaching “three score years and 10” without one or more bouts of illness are zero. If all that matters to you is staying healthy without spiritual transformation there is much you can do. However when researching avoid the “wisdom” of many of the charities who are no more than fronts for the pharmaceutical industry.
So we are now left with those of you who wish to use your actual and potential S.I.T.E. to accelerate your journey along the spiritual path. And hopefully take a few others with you without their having to suffer as you have.
As long as I can remember, Archimedes’ principle of wanting to find a lever long enough to move the world has resonated with me and informed most of my actions. There is no doubt that the world, especially in the West, in 2018 given the unbelievable sickness levels I have described offers the opportunity through illness for mass awakening.
Well we can’t say we haven’t been warned! Wars, democide, genocide, endless government lies, “terrorism”, the coming and going of religious avatars, the distortion of history, the collapse of ancient civilisations, the destruction of ancient wisdom, “commodity fetishism”, the commercialisation and sexualisation of everything that hasn’t been nailed down, the trivialisation and distraction through popular culture and Tony Blair.
Even if you believe this world, flawed though it may be, is the best of all possible worlds and that those in power have our best interests at heart you can still use illness as a tool for changing your life. And of course it is all too simple. If you are suffering from chronic illness ask yourself what have you done to bring you to this place? And if you believe after any kind of respite that the way to live the rest of your life is to carry on as before then as far as I’m concerned you are beyond help.
I’m sorry, but there is much “science” to support the fact that serious illness is a wake-up call. And the good news continues. Change everything that got you to your place of pain and you will be moving in the right direction. Indeed “following your bliss” may well set you free.
And for some of you, being set free will help you realise you are a spiritual being having a human experience and you will join the rest of the light workers on the planet to take this beautiful celestial body back to paradise. And for that we are eternally grateful.
Because I believe this is one of my best posts I would appreciate if you could like and share it; this statement of the obvious needs the widest possible audience.
Love and gratitude, Jack Stewart January 11, 2018.
