those close to you get theirs? How much do you get from alternative sources?
What is the mainstream’s view of these sources?
Do these sound familiar:
Monarch good, elected head of state bad.
Private good, public bad.
White good, black bad.
A bit obvious eh? Patronising even.
Well I have friends who by any standards are intelligent. And all of them are compassionate, willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. So, when it is revealed that ‘national treasures’ are paedophiles, or certain
politicians are liars and cheats, one consequence is to retreat inward, and hold on more tightly to ‘what’s left’ and dread the day any of their heroes are outed.
And, of course, a more subtle tactic is to present certain people, e.g. Cameron or his/other parties as extreme, or evil, or beyond redemption, making your ‘chosen ones’ more attractive.
Coupled with this strategy is to demonise the real alternative media. David Icke is a nutter, a ‘step too far’, only in it for the money, Alex Jones is an unstable, gun-obsessed ranter etc. See what the US Government is doing about these nutters:
Most of this falls under the heading of cognitive dissonance.
The latest from the ‘natural party of government’ is to further set those in work against those out of work. A recent survey suggests over 60% of people in the UK are happy with their job. If you were asked ‘are you happy at work?’ what would saying ‘no’ imply? First reaction? So leave you wimp. And if you worked in a volatile industry with fragile job prospects, would that influence your opinion?
So, ‘the majority’ of people in another survey feel those out of work, should work for their benefits. Sizeable minorities think mental illness and disability are not good enough reasons to ‘sit at home.’ No doubt these minorities will have no truck with thousands of people turning to suicide in the aftermath of ‘Work Capability Assessment.’
The Catholic Church doesn’t like suicide. Some of their policy makers believe the victims of suicide go to hell. As if the situation they were in before killing themselves was heaven.
Many reading this next bit won’t bother, and will continue with the temporary feelings of safety and security.
The whole system is corrupt. Yet it contains within it many with the potential to redeem themselves. However, in the meantime, being prepared for just about anything to be revealed is a strategy of the sane. Many have said, including Diana, that as it all unfolds, many will go insane, incapable of rationalising the murderous, satanic nature of those running the asylum.
Your move. Or perhaps not.
